PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflecting plate for a heater which enables efficient heating to a heated object by improving reflectivity of infrared rays emitted from the heater. SOLUTION: In the reflecting plate 11 to reflect the infrared rays reflected from lamp heaters 9, a reflecting face 19a to reflect the infrared rays is made of at least one of silver and silver alloy. The reflectivity of the infrared rays of sliver or silver alloy is, of course, higher than stainless steel and also higher than gold. By forming the reflecting face 19a made of at least one of silver or silver alloy, the reflecting plate 11 having high infrared ray reflectivity is achieved, and the heated object is heated efficiently.
