PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector in which abrasion speed at a joint between conductors associated with insertion/extraction can be suppressed, even if a pressing force of a fastening member is strengthened. SOLUTION: In the connector with a female connector 4 to house a cylindrical female terminal 3 arranged in an end of a cable 2, and a male connector 6 to house a male terminal 5 that is inserted into the female terminal 3, the fastening member 7 that fastens the female terminal 3 when the male terminal 5 is inserted in order to fasten the male terminal 5 is slidably arranged at the outer periphery of the female terminal 3, and furthermore, a sliding mechanism 16 is arranged in the female connector 4 to make the fastening member 7 sliding move.
