PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination meter which can achieve both an improvement in the visibility of a pair of analog display meter sections in usual times and an improvement in the display performance of a digital display section in predetermined times such as in emergency times or when a driver needs a large amount of information. SOLUTION: In the combination meter, a forward/backward drive mechanism 33 using a rack and pinion in usual times moves the pair of analog display meter sections 23, 24 toward the center of the meters in front of the digital display section 26 so that part of the analog display meter sections 23, 24 may cover the digital display section 26, and in emergency times, moves at least one of the analog display meter sections 23, 24 away from the center of the meters in emergency times or in abundant information times in which a large amount of information is displayed on the digital display section 26. This can achieve both an improvement in the visibility of the pair of analog display meter sections 23, 24 in usual times and an improvement in the display performance of the digital display section 26 in emergency times.
