PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give a player the indication of an internal state of a game machine and, at the same time, prevent the player from losing concentration on or interest in a game, resulting from the player's being able to guess the internal state. SOLUTION: If a Pachinko game machine is in a variable-probability game state (Yes in step 2201), a performance control section sets a target-reference determination table for the variable-probability game state to a RAM (step 2202). If the Pachinko game machine is in a normal game state (No in step 2201), the performance control section sets a target-reference determination table for the normal game state to a RAM (step 2203). Using the target-reference determination table set in the RAM, the control section determines a performance table for reference (step 2204). Then, the control section captures a variable pattern (step 2205), determines a pre-performance corresponding to the variable pattern by using the determined performance table (step 2206), and sets a command for the determined pre-performance (step 2207).
