The component has rotary guiding units comprising a drawn cup needle bearing (7) fitted in a case (3), and a plain bearing (8) for maintaining an input shaft (1). An output shaft or steering pinion (2) is rotatively mounted in the case by two ball bearings (9, 10). The case supports a torque sensor (4) and the guiding units of the shafts that are connected with respect to each other by a torsion-bar (5). An elastic dampening element i.e. elastomer O-ring joint (13), is arranged among an end of the input shaft and nozzle needles of the needle bearing. |
