PHOTOSETTING ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, POLARIZING PLATE AND PRODUCTION METHOD OF THE SAME, OPTICAL MEMBER, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosetting adhesive adhering a protective film to a polarizer with sufficient adhesion strength in a short period of time, even when a resin film having low moisture permeability selected from a polyester resin, polycarbonate resin and acrylic resin is used for the protective film, and to provide a polarizing plate with a protective film stuck to the polarizer by use of the adhesive.

SOLUTION: The following photosetting adhesive composition is used when the protective film comprising a resin film having low moisture permeability is adhered to the polarizer comprising a polyvinyl alcohol resin film which is uniaxially oriented and includes a dichroic dye adsorbed and oriented therein. The composition contains (A) an epoxy compound having at least two epoxy groups in the molecule, (B) an oxetane compound having at least one oxetanyl group in the molecule, and (C) a photo-cation polymerization initiator, in which the weight ratio of epoxy compound (A)/oxetane compound (B) ranges from 90/10 to 10/90 and the photocation polymerization initiator (C) is included by 0.5 to 20 wt.% in the composition.
