<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device having good display quality with excellent visibility, by suppressing light leak from a display frame with a small man-hour without using a new dedicated member. <P>SOLUTION: A cover case 4, composed of a light shield resin elastic material where a display window 411 is provided, is fitted to and mounted on a frame case 3 in which a rectangular liquid crystal display panel 2 is accommodated. Four side plates 42 vertically provided on four edges of the cover case 4 are formed in a two-fold type with a V-shape cross section, and act as plate springs. The cover case 4 covers the whole front face polarization plate 23 of a liquid crystal panel with the display window 411, in a balanced state in which resilient forces of four two-fold type side plates 42 are balanced, and each edge face of the display window 411 and the front face polarization plate 23 are kept in a reference mount state in which they face each other with a gap dimension c of 1/2 of a maximum dimension capable of suppressing the light leak from the display frame so that visibility of display may not be spoiled. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
