PURPOSE: A moving picture searching system using a color-spectrum is provided to search a video image of a website which is partially or completely identical to a video image uploaded by a user. CONSTITUTION: A video image analysis module(103) extracts a fingerprint value based on a color-spectrum from a uploaded video image and a stored video image. A video image search module(108) compares the fingerprint value of the video image uploaded after being extracted from the video image analysis module with the fingerprint value of the stored video image. The video image search module searches a website video image which is completely or partially identical to the uploaded video image. A display module(113) outputs to a user terminal the video image searched by the video image search module and the information on the video image.
