PREPARATION OF POLYOLS AND A RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM USING TOLUENE DIISOCYANATE DISTILLATION RESIDUES

PURPOSE: Polyol, a manufacturing method thereof, and a manufacturing method of the solid polyurethane foam are provided to produce the polyol with the excellent viscosity by recycling a toluene diisocyanate distillation residue, and to prevent the air pollution. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of polyol comprises the following steps: stirring a mixture containing a toluene diisocyanate distillation residue with 40~60wt% of monomer, after heating the mixture into 50~60 deg C; adding mono alcohol to the mixture for reacting for 1~3 hours, and adding polyhydric alcohol to the mixture for reacting for 1~4 hours; and removing a solvent from the mixture.
