<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom heating device used in an indoor space with high humidity, filled with steam, and accurately sensing the indoor surface temperature without using a radiation temperature sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The bathroom heating device is provided with: an electric heater 10 for heating a bathroom; a temperature sensor 12 for sensing the air temperature in the bathroom; and a control means 15 for controlling the electric heater 10. The control means 15 is provided with: a storage means 16 for storing the air temperature sensed by the temperature sensor 12 at start of heating by the electric heater 10; a timer means 17 for measuring passage time from heating start by the electric heater 10; and a calculating means 18 for calculating the bathroom surface temperature. The calculating means 18 calculates the bathroom surface temperature, based on the air temperature sensed by the temperature sensor 12, the air temperature stored in the storage means 16 and the passage time sensed by the timer means 17.
