<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire in which the abrasion mode in the width direction of a tread is further uniformized. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire comprises a carcass 1 forming a skeleton structure of the tire, a belt 3 arranged on the outer circumferential side of a crown area of the carcass 1, and a tread 4 arranged further on the outer circumferential side of the belt 3. Two belt layers forming the belt 3 are circumferential belt layers 3a, 3b consisting of cords extending in the tire circumferential direction. The tread 4 has a lamination structure consisting of a cap rubber layer 4a and a base rubber layer 4b. The thickness of the base rubber layer 4b of an area part reaching a step end position from an end part in the width direction of the circumferential belt layers 3a, 3b in the section of the tire width direction is set to be larger than the thickness of the base rubber layer of the other part of the tread 4, and the rubber hardness of the cap rubber layer 4a is set larger than the rubber hardness of the base rubber layer 4b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
