PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs by using a ferrite magnet for a permanent magnet of a rotor so as not to deteriorate torque. SOLUTION: A rotor 16 spaced from a stator 13 with an air gap length G1 has: an annular hub portion 21 in which a laminate core 15 of the rotor 16 is fitted and fixed to a rotating shaft 14; a Y-shape portion 22 formed by combining spoke portions 22a corresponding in number to motor magnetic poles and radially extending with a predetermined width from the hub portion 21 and V-shape portions 22b branched from the tip of the spoke portions 22a, in the shape of Y; a thick width connecting portion 24 in which two tips of the Y-shape portions 22 are connected in an arc along the outer circumference of the rotor 16; and a thin width connection portion 25 in which the Y-shape portions 22 connected in the thick width connecting portions 24 are connected in an arc along the outer circumference of the rotor 16. In the rotor 16, permanent magnets 30 are fitted and fixed to slots 20a as through holes equivalent to the number of motor poles surrounded by the Y-shape portions 22, the second connection portion and the hub portion 21 so that the same polarities face each other in the circumferential direction.
