PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an appropriate ignition timing according to a warm-up level of a V-type engine for every front-and-rear bank. SOLUTION: An ignition timing control device of a V-type engine 15 is constituted with a front bank 151 and a rear bank 152. The device includes a water temperature sensor 17 for detecting a temperature of water for cooling the engine, and a warm-up determination unit 30 for determining whether the engine is in a warm-up based on whether the engine cooling water temperature detected by the water temperature sensor 17 is rising or not and for determining that the warm-up is finished when the engine cooling water temperature reaches a predetermined value. The device includes a means for changing the ignition timings of the front bank 151 and the rear bank 152 to an advancing side gradually according to the rising of the engine cooling water temperature, if the engine is determined to be in the warm-up.
