PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet end detector, a wiping unit, and a droplet discharging apparatus capable of accurately detecting the sheet end of a wiping sheet with a simple configuration and making good use of the wiping sheet. SOLUTION: The system is such that the sheet end detector 56 that faces a sheet feeding route ranging from a sheet delivery reel 51 to a sheet winding reel 52 and detects the sheet end of the wiping sheet S delivered from the sheet delivery reel 51 including a route changing roller 69 that is disposed in the vicinity of the sheet delivery reel 51 and changes the sheet delivery route of the wiping sheet S that is being delivered from the sheet delivery reel 51, and the detector 81 that detects whether or not the route changing roller 69 is rotated, with a winding motor 72 that rotates the sheet winding reel 52 driven.
