PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems related to heat generation and service life due to use of a halogen lamp by using a laser beam source, transmitting the laser beam through a light guide, and illuminating the inside of a periodontal pocket or a root canal and to solve problems related to the area of an illumination light source due to the use of an LED or the thickness of the light guide. SOLUTION: A hand piece body part 20 includes a laser beam source 21, a condenser lens 22, an image forming lens 23 for forming an image transmitted through an image fiber 14, and an image sensor 24. A head part 10 includes a light guide fiber and the image fiber 14 for transmitting an image in an oral cavity to be observed. The head 10 is removably attached to the hand piece body part 20 and the image of the oral cavity is formed by an objective lens by illuminating inside the oral cavity with the laser beam transmitted through the light guide fiber 11.
