PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester film, which mounts an LED, has fully practicable reflection performance of a visible light area, is suitable for a flexible printed circuit board for mounting a light emitting diode having both functions of a backlight reflection film of a liquid crystal display and of the flexible printed circuit board, and to provide a laminate for the flexible printed circuit board for mounting the light emitting diode. SOLUTION: The biaxially oriented polyester film for the light emitting diode mounting flexible printed circuit board has at least a layer principally containing polyethylene naphthalene dicarboxylate, wherein a thermal compression ratio after heat treatment of 200°C for 10 min is≥-3% and≤3% in each of both longitudinal and width directions of a film, a temperature expansion ratio (αt) at 30-200°C is≥11×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C and≤50×10<SP>-6</SP>/°C in each of both the longitudinal and width directions of the film, and a mean value of full-light relative reflection rate is≥80% and≤100%.
