摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly accurate induction detecting type rotary encoder for preventing crosstalk between adjacent tracks. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The induction detecting type rotary encoder 11 includes first magnetic flux coupling winding 41a and second magnetic flux coupling winding 41b which are formed coaxially with respect to a rotation axis from inward on a surface of a rotor 15 opposite to a stator 13 for respectively magnetic-flux-coupling with first reception winding 32a and second reception winding 32b. The first magnetic flux coupling winding 41a and the second magnetic flux coupling winding 41b form a first track and a second track generating a periodic change by a single rotation respectively. The second magnetic flux coupling winding 41b includes a first wire 410b and a second wire 420b. The first wire 410b is structured like a gear, and alternatively includes recesses 411b dented in a direction coming closer to a spindle 7 and protrusions 412b protruding in a direction coming farther away from the spindle 7.
