<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user who brings an apparatus to a scene such as a conference to acquire an application program corresponding to the apparatus. Ž<P>SOLUTION: Role list information in which at least one piece of role information specifying a role to be needed in the scene is related to scene information specifying the scene and stored, and processing stipulation information defining a program to be executed in order for the apparatus to achieve the role specified by the role information in association with the role information and the type of the apparatus owned by the user are stored. The list of the role information related to the specified scene is acquired, information indicating the type of the apparatus is received from the user, one of the role information for which the program corresponding to the apparatus of the type specified by the received information is defined among the acquired role information is selected, and the program to be executed in order to achieve the role specified by the selected role information is transmitted to the apparatus of the user.
