PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve adhesive force to a recording medium without increasing voltage. SOLUTION: When a leading edge of paper P is located at a predetermined position where it is opposed to a pair of comb-shaped electrodes 62a and 62b more upstream from an inkjet head 2 located on the most upstream side in a sub scanning direction, voltage applied between the pair of comb-shaped electrodes 62a and 62b is changed to make strong current flow instantaneously between the pair of comb-shaped electrodes 62a and 62b.
