<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control device that is reduced in cost by reducing the circuit area. <P>SOLUTION: A motor control device 1 includes: amplifiers 11U, 11V, and 11W for amplifying the voltages generated in shunt resistors 4U, 4V, and 4W connected to drivers 3U, 3V, and 3W that supply a driving current of three phases to a three-phase brushless motor 2; sample hold circuits 12U, 12V, and 12W for sampling and holding the voltages amplified by the amplifiers 11U, 11V, and 11W; a multiplexer 13 that sequentially selects and outputs the voltage values held by the sample hold circuits 12U, 12V, and 12W; an A-D converter 14 for performing A-D conversion of the output signal of the multiplexer 13; and an operation section 15 that calculates the driving current from the output signal of the A-D converter 14 and estimates the positions of magnetic poles of the motor 2 on the basis of the driving current and controls the drivers 3U, 3V, and 3W to perform PWM-control of the driving current. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
