<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ornamental cover case with a light-guiding function achieving a plant cultivation device having high flexibility in observation or appreciation, and having high ornamental properties and merchantability. <P>SOLUTION: The ornamental cover case with a light-guiding function 1 is made of transparent material, and is integrally formed into a cylindrical state having a blocked-up part 2 on one side thereof and an opening 3 on another side thereof. The blocked-up part 2 is structured to have a protruding part 6 formed toward the side of the opening 3 at its center part so that the cross sectional shape of the blocked-up part 2 is formed into an almost M-shape. Light incoming into a side wall 11 from the edge surface 9 of the opening 3 is guided to the inside of the side wall 11 while repeating total reflection between the outer wall surface 12 and the inner wall surface 13 of the side wall 11, reaches the end surface 14 of the protruding part 6, and is irradiated to the inner space covered with the ornamental cover case with a light-guiding function 1, from the end surface 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
