<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably producing aromatic hydrocarbons for a long time by catalytically reacting lower hydrocarbons with a catalyst while maintaining a high yield of aromatic hydrocarbon production. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes a reaction process of catalytically reacting lower hydrocarbons with a catalyst to obtain aromatic hydrocarbons, and a regeneration process of regenerating the catalyst used in the reaction process, and includes repeating the reaction and regeneration processes.
