<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of a network facility when connecting between high-order layer devices in a network which connects the high-order layer devices to each other via a photonic network. <P>SOLUTION: An optical network system includes two or more optical-node devices respectively in which an output route connectable from a certain transponder is limited or an input route connectable to a certain transponder is limited in switching of an optical signal of an optical-switch function part.
