OPTICAL-PATH SETTING METHOD, OPTICAL-NODE DEVICE, AND OPTICAL NETWORK SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve utilization efficiency of a network facility when connecting between high-order layer devices in a network which connects the high-order layer devices to each other via a photonic network.

SOLUTION: An optical network system includes two or more optical-node devices respectively in which an output route connectable from a certain transponder is limited or an input route connectable to a certain transponder is limited in switching of an optical signal of an optical-switch function part. The optical-node device exchanges information regarding the number of unused transponders in-between a central control device or another optical-node device in order to select an optical-path route which sets such that the number of unused transponders connectable to each route is equalized.
