<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catheter for achieving excellent maneuverability. <P>SOLUTION: The catheter 10 has: a tube body (sheath 16) including a main lumen 20 and a sub-lumen 30 of a smaller diameter than the main lumen 20; and an operation wire 40 which is slidably inserted into the sub-lumen 30 and has a tip part 41 fixed to a distal end part 15 of the sheath 16. The proximal end part of the operation wire 40 is pulled to bend the distal end part 15 of the sheath 16.
