PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaner which has high affinity with skin and towel, has glutinosity and is easily extended on the skin and towel as the paste-like cleaner, further, is excellent in foaming property and has easily extensible characteristic because of fineness of foam. SOLUTION: The paste-like cleaner comprises the following components (A) to (E): (A) a fatty acid or salt thereof of 20 to 50 mass%; (B) cationic polymer of 0.02 to 0.2 mass%; (C) nonionic polymer selected from hydroxypropyl guar gum, polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyethylene glycol, of 0.02 to 0.2 mass%; (D) polyhydric alcohol having three or more hydroxy groups in each molecule, of 3 to 30 mass%; and (E) water.
