<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eaves which prevents rainwater from flowing down from the positions other than a predetermined position, is manufacturable at low cost, and requires less labor for maintenance and inspections. Ž<P>SOLUTION: These eaves includes a front edge plate 4 attached over the entire width so as to close the open front end surfaces 29 of hollow eaves plates 2. The front edge plate 4 includes a vertical plate part 40 which is brought into contact with the open front end surfaces 29 of the eaves plates 2 and the front surface of which forms a guide surface 40a for guiding rainwater downward, and a lateral plate part 41 which is brought into contact with the upper surfaces of the eaves plates 2 and the upper surface of which forms a guide surface 41a for guiding rainwater to the guide surface 40a of the vertical plate part 40 which are formed integrally with each other. A recess 44 extending over the entire width is formed in the lower inner surface of the vertical plate part 40. The recess 44 faces the open front end surfaces 29 of the eaves plates 2 so that the upper part of the opened portion thereof communicates with the hollow parts of the eaves plates 2 and projects downward of the eaves plates 2 so that the lower part thereof communicates with the outside.
