PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an optical scanner compact and thin, while fully taking advantage of the effects of the oscillation mirror of an optical deflector. Ž
SOLUTION: A laser beam A (laser beams of a light source unit (black, cyan), diagonal incident angles are the same) and a laser beams B (laser beam of a light source unit (yellow, magenta)) are made incident with a narrow diagonal incident angle (angle in a subscanning position direction), θ with respect to the normal line of the reflection face of the oscillation mirror deflector 8. Even if the laser beams A and B are very close to each other, all laser beams for 4 colors are made incident on an optical path converting element 3; in the conventional case, one of two optical conversion elements does not block an optical path, the bow of scanning line on a photoreceptor 9 face is reduced by reducing the diagonal incident angle; and the beam diameter of the laser beam is made to be the beam diameter necessary for high image quality. Furthermore, also the laser beam B is passed and reflected on the same optical path converting element 3, reflected on a mirror 5, passed through a lens 4, condensed on a photoreceptor 9 and optically scanned in the same direction. Latent images that correspond to the respective photoreceptors 9 are formed. Ž
COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
