<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of achieving miniaturization of an external housing and improving in degree of freedom in design of the external housing. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An exhaust device 4 that constitutes the projector 1 includes: a duct 6 making air circulate inside; and a fan body 5 having an impeller 51 constituted by integrating a plurality of blades 51A on an outer periphery and rotating centering around a predetermined rotary shaft RAx, and a pivotally supporting member 52 pivotally supporting the impeller 51 to be rotatable. The pivotally supporting member 52 extends in a direction where it is separated from the rotary shaft RAx, and has a plurality of arms 522 to be attached to the duct 6.
