<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress rotation fluctuation of an engine occurring by rocking due to inertia of the engine during an abrupt stop caused by a material of an engine mount. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When it is determined that a vehicle has abruptly stopped by an electronic control unit 101 based on a signal of a vehicle speed sensor 1 (S102, S104), in rotation control of the engine 103, a predetermined constant capable of changing the rotation of the engine 103 is corrected over a fixed period according to the amount of rotation fluctuation of the engine 103 occurring due to the abrupt stop.
