<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector which prevents re-adhesion of shaken-down dust without using a mechanical mechanism even as an on-line type dust collector and has high efficiency of shaking down. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The dust collector shakes down dust adhered to the filtration surface of a filter 7 filtrating dust-containing air by blowing off a pressure gas toward the back surface of the filtration surface of the filter 7 while filtrating dust-containing air with the filter 7. To prevent the dust shaken down from the filter 7 by blowing off the pressure gas from being re-adhered to the filter 7 by the filtrating air flow of the dust-containing air, there is provided a dust re-adhesion preventing device 10A which supplies a gas to the filter 7 for a predetermined time after blowing off of the pressure gas.
