METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR HANDOVER IN MULTIPLE CARRIER SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method and a device for hand over in a multi carrier system are provided to minimize a delay due to an handover, thereby improving communication quality and reducing a battery consumption used in a signal measurement. CONSTITUTION: A processor(11) receives a multi carrier measurement information from a base station and performs measurement based on the multi carrier measurement information, and report the measurement result to the base station. The processor performs a target base station and a handover through one reference carrier among component carrier which the measurement result is reported. The multi carrier measurement information shows a component carrier of neighboring cells. The measurement result show the measurement result about the component carrier.
