<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower head with a water-cleaning function which shower head allows a user to switch flow passages for between original water and cleaned water easily and is easy to handle and manufacture. <P>SOLUTION: A head section having a shower output and a handle section containing exchangably a water quality cleaning cartridge are formed unitedly. A water passage switching valve for switching between original water and cleaned water is mounted on the upstream side or downstream side of the location for the water quality cleaning cartridge in the handle section. This passage switching valve is formed as a rotative shut valve which rotates a valve body around a shaft that is parallel to a valve seat passage. An operation section for the water passage switching valve is located on the outside of the handle section. An output switching valve which functions independently from the water passage switching valve for switching between shower output and straight output is mounted on the upstream of the shower output. This output switching valve is formed as a shut valve having a valve element moving in the direction crossing to the valve seat passage.
