<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pedal device for improving operation feeling of a pedal member at the start of pedaling. <P>SOLUTION: A pedal member to be pressed by a driver is biased to a rotating direction which is opposite to a pressing direction by a double coil spring. A friction washer 70 for giving a frictional force to the rotational motion of the pedal member is provided with: a fixing part 74 supported by a housing; a slide-contact part 72 installed in the outward radial direction of the fixing part 74 when seen from the direction of the rotary shaft O of the pedal member and configured to slide-contact with the pedal member; and an elastic deforming part 75 installed to be elastically deformed in a rotational direction between the fixing part 74 and the slide-contact part 72. Thus, when an elastic deformation part 75 is elastically deformed to the rotational direction at the start of pressing the pedal member, the slide-contact part 72 is moved to the rotational direction together with the pedal member. Therefore, when the slide-contact part 72 and the pedal member are shifted from a static state to a sliding state, a shooting feeling to be given to the driver can be suppressed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
