PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables an operator at a hotel or a voice response system to transfer a telephone call without responding to the call when a guest of the hotel receives the call, which is incoming to his/her own house, at the hotel. SOLUTION: When a call to a telephone number of a house of a guest is transferred to a hotel, an exchange of the hotel extracts the telephone number of the house of the guest from setup information. An extension number of the hotel associated to the extracted telephone number is found out, and the call is automatically transferred to a room of the guest without interposing an operator of the hotel or a voice response system.
