PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner which has good electrostatic chargeability and has no risk of damaging a photoreceptor and keeps a high charge amount because a charge controlling agent hardly drops from toner particles. SOLUTION: The electrostatic charge image developing toner contains: a charge controlling agent comprising an amorphous metal complex salt having a monoazo compound expressed by general formula [2], as a ligand; a binder resin; and a colorant.
