<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide construction machinery provided with a battery mounting structure enabling a plurality of batteries having handles in both of end parts on an upper face to be mounted in a small space efficiently, respectively. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A battery mounting part 4 of this construction machinery allows the batteries 1 to be mounted one by one by utilizing two battery mounting faces 4a, 4b having difference H in height being equal to height h1 of the handle 3 or more. The batteries 1 are mounted per the battery mounting face 4a, 4b by arranging the handle 3 adjacent to and in contact with them. If there are suitable steps in a vehicle body frame itself of the construction machinery, faces of the steps can be utilized as they are. If the vehicle body frame of the construction machinery is flat, a stepwise step forming member is provided on the flat vehicle body frame to form the required battery mounting faces 4a, 4b.
