<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safe automobile key management system capable of meeting the requests of the input and change of key information by an owner without utilizing the Internet network. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This automobile key management system includes an on-vehicle controller 30 which comprises an owner mobile terminal 10 having a key storage zone 12 in which the key information of the owner is stored and a key storage zone 13 for lending in which the key information for lending is stored and a wireless communication means 33 which is communicable with an owner key storage zone 31 in which the key information of the owner which is transmitted from the owner mobile terminal 10 is stored and a storage zone 32 for lending in which the key information for lending is stored via a mobile phone communication network 40 and a third person mobile terminal 20 having a key storage zone 22 for a third person in which the key information for lending which is transmitted from the owner mobile terminal 10 is stored. Consequently, the key information for lending can be transferred to the third person mobile terminal 20 without utilizing the Internet network, and the door of a vehicle can be locked and unlocked and the engine can be started up from the third person mobile terminal 20.
