PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a human requires so much oxygen for his respiration at a high place so that the oxygen tank or the like he carries empties soon, and if such an oxygen tank or the like is heavy, it is discarded as trash at such a place, corrodes there, and causes an environmental protection problem. SOLUTION: The respiration support device includes a pressure sensor 14 to detect atmospheric pressures at a place where he is present, an air introduction part 12 to introduce air from the outside, and an oxygen tank 11 filled up with oxygen with a prescribed concentration. It also includes an adjuster 17 to adjust the mixture ratio of air to oxygen based on the detected atmospheric pressure, and a mixer 13 to mix air with oxygen according to the adjusted mixture ratio.
