摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve sound quality in a frame immediately after switching by setting an initial value of an internal status of a coding means or a decoding means of an coding system based on linear prediction coding to be an appropriate value when switching to the coding system based on the linear prediction coding from an coding system which does not use linear prediction.

SOLUTION: When the frame immediately before a frame to be coded by a first coding unit 13 using the linear prediction coding is coded by a second coding unit 14 using a coding different from the linear prediction coding, the internal status of the first coding unit 13 is initialized, and thereby the frame to be coded is coded using the linear prediction coding. With this, coding processing including the linear prediction coding and another coding different from the linear prediction coding can be performed.
