<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body pressure measuring method having a means which can take into account not only factors based on the physique of a user as choice factors of bedding but also choice factors of a bedding supplier and factors based on tastes of the user. <P>SOLUTION: According to the body pressure measuring method, several bottom mattress databases in which several pieces of data of bottom mattresses of different hardness are recorded are prepared with including bottom mattresses of identical hardness in desired groups. Body pressure data which is obtained respectively from a back region and a buttock region of the user lying on his back on a mattress for measurement is input. The result obtained by questioning the user is input. At least one bottom mattress adaptable to the body pressure data is extracted from each of the bottom mattress databases on the basis of the body pressure data. It is determined whether correction data based on the result of questioning is stored in a storing means or not. When the correction data is stored in the storing means, changes are made on the basis of the correction data with reference to the extracted bottom mattresses and other bottom mattresses are selected.
