PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TFT-LCD array substrate, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: This invention relates to the TFT-LCD array substrate and the method of manufacturing the same. The TFT-LCD array substrate includes a plurality of gate lines, a plurality of data lines and a plurality of common electrode lines, which are formed on a substrate. A plurality of pixel regions are formed by mutually crossing the plurality of gate lines and the plurality of data lines, a pixel electrode and a thin film transistor are formed in each pixel region, and one common electrode line is shared by two vertically adjacent pixel regions.
