<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analysis method for precisely detecting the occurrence of an earthquake, using image data of a meteorological satellite. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of analyzing meteorological image data by the meteorological satellite, a bar-like marker is displayed on the image and is mounted on topographic image data so that a region of acquired meteorological image data corresponding to the topographic image data is cleared; lightness difference obtained by scanning the meteorological image data by eliminating the meteorological image data whose lightness is lower than a plurality of lightness values set as a threshold is used, meteorological image data is three-dimensionally displayed; and the existence of an earthquake is detected, based on the obtained lightness difference and the three-dimensional data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
