PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To refer to traveling tracks in the past when a vehicle starts to travel, and to previously provide reverse run warning information including information on a point or a route section where a reverse run happened in the past, when there is a route section where a reverse run happened. SOLUTION: This navigation device 1 includes a traveling track storage means 13 for therein sequentially storing nodes and links of roads traveled from a travel start spot of the vehicle to an end spot thereof as traveling tracks, and a traveling track distinction means 14 for extracting links traveled in a direction reverse to a moving direction from the respective traveling tracks stored in the storage means 13 when the vehicle starts to travel. When the vehicle starts to travel, the distinction means 14 refers to traveling track information stored in the storage means 13. When a link is extracted which is in a direction reverse to the moving direction, a warning is provided to the effect that a reverse run happened in the past together with information denoting the link of a road on which the reverse run happened.
