<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release film excellent in releasing property, heat resistance, anti-fouling property, shape-following-up property and uniform moldability, easily deposited after use and comparatively low in cost, while hardly generating folding wrinkles when heat-pressed and giving easy handleability during the use; and to provide a manufacturing method of the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The release film has a releasing layer prepared by using a resin composition composed of as main components a polybutylene terephthalate resin and a polymethylpentene resin as resin components and roughning to set the value S<SB>Ra</SB>of three dimensional central surface average roughness to 0.3-10 μm. The coefficient of kinetic friction μd to a surface to be released is preferably at most 0.30 under the condition of 23°C and a relative humidity of 60%. Ž<P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT Ž
