PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide color image forming method and device for improving granular property of color image inked to have dull tone and soft tone. SOLUTION: In this color image forming method by use of black toner and color toner, the black toner and the color toner have a core shell structure, respectively, a polyester resin having an acid value of 15-40 mgKOH/g is used to form a core of the black toner, a polyester resin having an acid value of 40-70 mgKOH/g is used to form a shell of the black toner, and a polyester resin having an acid value of 5-15 mgKOH/g is used to form a core of the color toner.
