<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more reliably prevent fraudulent practice for illegally charging tokens by using a fraudulent instrument. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a token selector 34 of a slot machine, a first token passage 44 where tokens 29 flow is formed. The first token passage 44 includes a passage shutter 42 for moving between a block position for blocking flow of the tokens 29 and an evacuation position for allowing the tokens 29 to flow. On a side surface 42a of the passage shutter 42, there is a contact sensor 48 for detecting the tokens 29 whose flow is blocked. On an end surface 42b of the passage shutter 42, there is a token detection part for detecting the tokens 29 flowing to a downstream side of the passage shutter 42. The passage shutter 42 is normally at the block position. When the contact sensor 48 detects the tokens 29, the passage shutter 42 moves to the evacuation position.
