PURPOSE: A mechanical input-output device for a portable device is provided to directly support the selection and adjustment of a necessary function which is frequently used. CONSTITUTION: A case encloses an external portion of a portable terminal(500), and a mechanical information output unit is prepared at one side of the case. The arrangement of the case is changed according to the user function of the portable terminal. First and second mechanical structure display the residual amount of a battery of a portable terminal, and a third mechanical structure displays the strength of a receptions signal of the portable terminal. A fourth mechanical structure displays a message function of the portable terminal.
