PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus extract is provided to ensure antioxidation, cell protection, whitening and anti-wrinkle. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.1-10.0 weight% of tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus extract. The tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus extract is isolated using purified water, alcohol of C1-C4 or alkylene glycol of C1-C5. The composition is used for antioxidation, cell protection, whitening and anti-wrinkle. A method for producing the tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus extract comprises: a step of dipping tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus with purified water, alcohol of C1-C4 or alkylene glycol of C1-C5 for 3-30 days to form dipped solution; a step of filtering the dipped solution to obtain the tissue cultured Anoectochilus formosanus extract; and a step of removing extract solvent.
