<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous ink composition for inkjet recording, the method achieving image formation with suppressed white spots in an image and with high resolution. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the aqueous ink composition for inkjet recording includes (1) a step of heating a pigment dispersion at ≥50°C, in which a pigment covered with a water-insoluble resin is dispersed, and (2) a step of further mixing a latex and an organic solvent with the heated pigment dispersion within 7 days after the heating. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
