PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield machine which can prevent the melting of even a supply line in a cutter spoke during the melting of the cuter spoke and can reuse the supply line. SOLUTION: A cutter 3 used for excavating the working-face natural ground is provided at the front of a cylindrical shield frame 1, and the cutter 3 of the shield machine has the center of rotation 3a and the cutter spoke 16. The center of rotation 3a is rotation driven or oscillation-driven by a rotary drive device 6, and the cutter spoke 16 is provided radially from the center 3a of rotation. The supply line 26 used for supplying hydraulic pressure, a mud-producing agent, electricity or the like is inserted into a predetermined cutter spoke from the inside of the shield frame 1 through the center of rotation. A part 29 which can be divided by melting is formed at the cutter spoke 16 through which the supply line 26 is inserted, and a protective pipe 32 which is used for protecting the supply line 26 during melting is provided in the part 29 which can be divided.
